Pharr - Jose Guadalupe De La Rosa, 67, passed away Sunday, November 1, 2026, at South Texas Health System McAllen.
He is preceded in death by his son, Marcos De La Rosa; his father, Isabel De La Rosa; and siblings, Martha De La Rosa and San Juanita De La Rosa.
Jose Guadalupe is survived by his 12 children, Maria Isabel De La Rosa, Josue Miguel De La Rosa, Jose Guadalupe De La Rosa, Yesika De La Rosa, Jorge De La Rosa, Prisilla De La Rosa, Jacob De La Rosa, Julie De La Rosa, Brenda De La Rosa, Kayla De La Rosa, Moises De La Rosa, and Ashley De La Rosa; numerous grandchildren and great- grandchildren; his mother, Maria Inez Ortiz and; five siblings, Adan Ortiz, Noemi Ortiz, Ruth Ortiz, Leopoldo De La Rosa and Samuel De La Rosa.
Visitation will begin at 4 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Thursday, November 5, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in San Juan. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
