JOSE CURA

EDINBURG - Jose Cura, 82, passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at Edinburg Regional Medical Center. 

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Rosalinda Cura; and his parents, Florencio and Concepcion Cura. 

Mr. Cura is survived by his wife, Maria Elva Cura; five children, Jose (Judith) Cura Jr., Richard Cura, Gilbert (Anita) Cura, Leticia Cura, David Cura; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two siblings, Irma Villanueva and Linda Villanueva. 

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary Thursday, November 7, 2024, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg.  Funeral service will take place at 9 a.m. Friday, November 8, 2024, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow at Anahuac Cemetery in Edcouch.  

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
