PHARR- Jose Castillo, 73, died, Monday, February 10, 2025, at McAllen Medical Center.

He is preceded in death by his parents Hilario and Aurora Castillo; two siblings, Raul and Ruben (Silvia) Castillo.

Mr. Castillo is survived by his wife, Esmeralda Castillo; three siblings, Hilario (Teresa) Castillo, Jr., Elva De La Rosa, Mary Alice (Ruben) Garces; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin at 4 p.m., with a 6 p.m. prayer service, Thursday, February 13, 2025, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m., Friday, February 14, 2025, at Iglesia Del Valle Santa Pentecostal in San Juan. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
