Jose Eloy Carrales Jr., 92, passed away Friday, September 8, 2023, at his residence in Penitas.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Maria Rita Carrales; and a son, Joe Eloy Carrales III.
Mr. Carrales is survived by his six children, Jaime (Myra) Carrales, Jose Elael (Janie) Carrales, Elda Emma (Richard) Gonzales, Eliberto (Melba) Carrales, Elizardo Carrales, and Elizabeth (Estevan) Viera; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a brother, Leo Carrales.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary Sunday, September 10, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg. Funeral service will be held at 12-noon Monday, September 11, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Los Caballos Cemetery in Falfurrias.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
