JOHN PATTERSON GORDON
EDINBURG - John Patterson Gordon, 90, died Sunday, December 6, 2015, at Amara Hospice in Edinburg.
Born in Boulder, CO, Mr. Gordon had lived in Edinburg most of his life. He was a teacher and administrator for 38 years and most of his educational career was dedicated to the Edinburg School District.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Lidia Gordon; and his parents, John Gordon and Olive Patterson.
Mr. Gordon is survived by two sons, Charles Patterson Gordon, Mark (Christine) Gordon; a granddaughter, Jennifer Gordon, all of Edinburg; and a sister, Margaret Campbell of Kerrville, TX.
A memorial service will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service Thursday, December 10, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
