JESUS RENTERIA

EDINBURG – Jesus Renteria, 79, passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Connie Renteria; parents, Lorenzo and Refugia Renteria; and sister, Mary Vasquez.

Mr. Renteria is survived by his wife, Maria Anita Renteria; three children, Hilda (Alfredo) Trevino, Jesus (Eva) Renteria Jr., Hector (Iris) Renteria; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; ten siblings, Jose (Anita) Renteria, Cristina (Ramon) Garza, Ofelia (Gilbert) Garcia, Juan Lorenzo Renteria, Cristobal Renteria, Jesus “Chuy” Renteria, Mary Renteria, Anna Renteria, Celina Renteria, Micaela Renteria; and brother-in-law, Rene Vasquez.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. with a 6 p.m. prayer service Sunday, January 4, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 12 p.m. (noon) Monday, January 5, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
