JAVIER CARR

EDINBURG – Javier Carr, 84, passed away Monday, December 9, 2024, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. 

He is preceded in death by his son, Javier Carr Jr., parents, Alberto Carr and Rosa Saucedo; and brother, Ruben Rodriguez. 

Mr. Carr is survived by his spouse, Alicia Carr Rodriguez; seven children, Bertha Alicia (Alejandro) Garcia, Jesus Carr, Juan Antonio Carr (best friend, Javier Luna), Maria Isabel (Juan Jose) Camarillo, Graciela (Sixto Vasquez), Mauricio (Anita) Carr, Ricardo (Eduvijes) Carr; daughter in law, Mary Carr; 17 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren; five siblings, Andres Carr, Carmen Reyna, Rosa Cavazos, Pilar Cano, and Gloria Rodriguez. 

Visitation will be held from 11 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. prayer service Friday, December 13, 2024, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Cremation will take place at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg. 

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
