JAIME VILLARREAL
MCALLEN – Jaime Villarreal, 60, passed away Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Briarcliff Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in McAllen.
Jaime was a dedicated father, a hard worker, and a friend to many. For more than 20 years in the car business, he formed meaningful connections that reflected the kind of man he was—genuine, dependable, and kind. He found joy in music and dancing, especially in moments shared with his daughter. Guided by faith and love for his family, his legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the love he gave so freely.
He is preceded in death by his father, Isauro Villarreal; sister, Irasema Villarreal; and brother, Manuel Isauro Villarreal.
Mr. Villarreal is survived by his wife, Rebecca Gutierrez; two daughters, Irasema Villarreal, Gabriella Garcia; son, Samuel Gomez; mother, Alicia Villarreal; three siblings, Javier Villarreal, Juan Jose (Iris) Villarreal, Dinora (David) Trevino; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 5, 2026, at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in McAllen. Interment will follow at La Piedad Cemetery in McAllen.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
