ISMELDA F. DE LEON

EDINBURG – Ismelda F. De Leon, 81, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2024, at Comfort House in McAllen.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Heliodoro and Gregoria Flores.

Mrs. De Leon is survived by her husband, Simon De Leon; five children, Rodolfo (Rachel) De Leon, Daniel (Mary) De Leon, Maria De La Luz (Francisco) Cadena, Betty De Leon, Leticia De Leon; six grandchildren, Danny De Leon, Marcos (Angel) De Leon, Carina De Leon, Sara De Leon, Gabriela Cadena, Liliana Cadena; two great-grandchildren, Cyan De Leon and Marek De Leon.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 9 a.m. Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
