ISABEL P. RODRIGUEZ

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Isabel P. Rodriguez who was called to Our Lord on June 23rd at the age of 77.

Born on July 8, 1948 in Matamoros, Mexico, Isabel lived a remarkable life in which she blessed others with her kindness, dedication, and love for family and friends. She was known for her generosity, humor, and love for her family. Isabel found great joy in life’s simple pleasures. She had a deep love and compassion for animals, looked forward to every trip to Las Vegas where she embraced the excitement and fun, and expressed her love for family and friends through her incredible cooking.

Isabel worked as a supervisor at Hagger’s Slacks for 25+ years where she won several awards for excellence and dedication in pursuit of perfection.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Edmundo Pena and Maria De Los Angeles Baez). 

She is survived by her husband Rafael Rodriguez and her son Noe Medrano, and step-children Tonya Anderson, Sammy Carrasco, April Rider, and Mark Rodriguez, as well as seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. Isabel had four sisters (Blanca Estela Erickson, Nora Elva Cabrera, Juana Quintanilla, and Sonia Pizaña) and five brothers (Eduardo Peña (deceased), Edmundo Peña (deceased), Baldomero Peña, Ricardo Peña, and Gustavo Edmundo Peña.

Isabel will be remembered for the love she shared, the lives she touched, and the legacy she leaves behind. Isabel will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
