IRMA C. GONZALEZ
SAN JUAN – Irma C. Gonzalez, 73, entered eternal rest Sunday, March 29, 2026, at Rio Grande Regional in McAllen.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Alvaro and Romana Salinas; and her grandmother, Gregoria Castillo Alvarez.
Irma is survived by her husband of 39 years, Pedro Gonzalez Torres; two children, Veronica Loera and Pedro Gonzalez Jr.; two grandchildren, Adrian Josue Gonzalez and Anahi Gonzalez; and four siblings, Tiburcio Castillo, Candido Castillo, Araceli Pena and Nancy Rivera.
Visitation will begin at 4 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
