JOSE ANGEL HUERTA
PHARR - Jose Angel Huerta, 87, died Thursday, August 13, 2009 at LifeCare Hospital of South Texas in McAllen.
Born in San Anton, Gto., Mexico, Mr. Huerta had lived in Pharr most of his life and was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church in Pharr.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Cruz Huerta; four brothers and three sisters.
Mr. Huerta is survived by his wife, Altagracia Huerta of Pharr; three sons, Juan (Blanca) Huerta, Jose (Concepcion) Huerta, both of San Juan, Arturo (Rebecca) Huerta of Edinburg; five daughters, Catalina (Ramiro) De Leon of Pharr, Carolina (Gregorio) Ramirez of Alamo, Cruz (Lucio) Guerrero of Austin, Texas, Yolanda Pedroza of Donna and Sylvia Huerta of San Juan; 24 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three brothers, Rafael Huerta, Jose Huerta, Alfonso Huerta; and a sister, San Juana Hernandez, all of Mexico.
The family would like to thank LifeCare Hospital of South Texas in McAllen, Rio Grande Regional Hospital. All Valley Primary Home Care, Helping Hands Adult Day Care and special thanks to Alicia Villarreal.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, today, August 16, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, August 17, 2009 at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
