HOMERO PUENTE DE LEON
EDINBURG – Homero Puente De Leon, 38, passed away Monday, May 18, 2026, at South Texas Health System McAllen.
Mr. Puente is survived by his six children, Homero Puente Jr., Alejandro Puente Olivares, Julio Cesar Puente, Jose Santos Puente, Alexa Puente Olivares, Alondra Puente; parents, Santos and Teresa Puente; five siblings, Hector Puente, Rebeca Perez Puente, Ana Laura Puente, Maria Paula Puente, Joselin Jasmin Puente; in-laws, Gerardo Perez, Alfredo Huerta, Berenice Castillo; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary Thursday, May 21, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 1 p.m. Friday, May 22, 2026, at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
