DAVID ABEL HERNANDEZ
EDINBURG – David Abel Hernandez, 87, died Monday, March 14, 2011, at Edinburg Regional Medical Center.
Born in Jalisco, Mexico, Mr. Hernandez had lived in Edinburg since 1978.
Mr. Hernandez is survived by his wife, Aurora Hernandez, of Edinburg; six children, Flor E. (Lazaro, Jr.) Salinas, Ricardo (Margarita) Hernandez, Rogelio Hernandez, David A. (Noemi) Hernandez, Jr., Roel (Benilde) Hernandez, all of Edinburg, Graciela (Jaime Carlos) De Leon, of McAllen; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 pm with a 7 pm rosary, today, March 16, 2011 at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 17, 2011, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
