HERLINDA RUIZ
EDINBURG – Herlinda Ruiz, 71, passed away Thursday, October 23, 2025, at McAllen Heart Hospital.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Enrique Ruiz Valdez.
Mrs. Ruiz is survived by her four children, Ruben (Emma) Pequeño Jr., Esmeralda Rivera, Gabriela Pequeño, Jose De Jesus Corral; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four siblings, Armando Ruiz, Pedro Ruiz, Ramon Ruiz, and Lucelida Ruiz.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
