Alfredo Guzman

ALFREDO GUZMAN, JR. EDINBURG - Alfredo Guzman, Jr., 80, died Thursday, October 16, 2014, at Colonial Manor Nursing Home in McAllen. Mr. Guzman was born in Edinburg and lived there all of his life. He is preceded in death by his parents, Alfredo and Sofia Guzman; a brother, Enrique Guzman; a sister, Avelia Vela; and two brohters-in-law, Arnoldo Salinas and Crisanto Vela. Alfredo is survived by three siblings, Jose S. (Lydia) Cantu of Edinburg, Lupita Salinas of McAllen, Agustin Manuel (Herminia) Guzman of Edinburg; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, October 19, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, October 20, 2014, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
