ROSARIO GUTIERREZ
MCALLEN – Rosario Gutierrez, 84, died Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at Christus Santa Rosa Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas.
Born in Doctor Gonzalez, N.L. Mexico, Mr. Gutierrez had lived in McAllen most of his life. He was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in McAllen and member of the Men’s Club. He was owner of Gutierrez Cement Finish in McAllen.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Enrique and Elvira Gutierrez; two brothers, Jesus and Roberto Gutierrez; and a sister, Petra Cantu.
Mr. Gutierrez is survived by his wife, Maria I. Gutierrez of McAllen; a son, Jaime (Mary) Gutierrez of San Antonio, Texas; grandson, Christopher J. Gutierrez; granddaughter, Michelle M. Gutierrez; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, today, July 3, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 4, 2009 at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in McAllen. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
