NORMA V. GUERRA
EDINBURG – Norma V. Guerra, 53, passed away to be with the Lord, Monday, July 20, 2009 at McAllen Medical Center after a short illness.
Norma was born in Chicago Heights, Illinois and had lived in Edinburg most of her life.
She is preceded in death by her father, Gilberto Villarreal.
Norma is survived by her husband, David Guerra; a daughter, Marissa Ingrid Guerra; her mother, Teodora Villarreal all of Edinburg; three brothers, Eusebio Villarreal of Hughson, California, Alfredo Villarreal and Luis Villarreal both of Edinburg; a sister, Eva Gutierrez of Chicago Heights, Illinois; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Wednesday, July 22, 2009 and Thursday, July 23, 2009, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton, in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 9 a.m., Friday, July 24, 2009 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission.
Norma will be greatly missed by her family and friends whose lives she touched. Her memory will remain alive in our hearts forever; we love you and will miss you always.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
