GUADALUPE GARZA GUAJARDO

ARLINGTON – Guadalupe Garza Guajardo, 79, entered eternal rest Friday, August 15, 2025, at Medical City of Arlington.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Miguel Guajardo; and a son, Michael Guajardo Jr.

Guadalupe is survived by two daughters, Magdalena (Charles) Defreitas and Aileen G. (Chanc) Bennett; five grandchildren, Alexandrea (Nate) Suri, Christopher (Haley) Defreitas, Steven Defreitas, Michael (Colin) Bennett, Aubrey Bennett; two great-grandchildren, Rafael and Guillermo Suri.

Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary on Monday, August 25, 2025, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Cremation will take place at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg. Interment of cremated remains will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
