EDINBURG- Guadalupe “Lupe” Davila, 54, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2026, at McAllen Medical Center.
He is preceded in death by a brother, Santiago Davila.
Guadalupe is survived by his wife, Sandra Gutierrez; five children, Guadalupe Davila Jr., Maritza Davila, Samantha Davila, Valentina Davila, Roman Davila; parents, Candelario and Guadalupe Davila; five siblings, Rosalita (Jocque) Garcia, Andres (Juanita) Davila, Pedro Davila, Candelario Davila Jr., Maria (Jonathan) Collins; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary Thursday, September 10, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Friday, September 11, 2026, at St. Francis Cabrini Xavier Catholic Church in Hargill. Interment will follow at Valle De La Paz Cemetery in Hargill.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
