GREGORIA G. ORTIZ
EDINBURG - Gregoria G. Ortiz, 86, passed away Friday, April 24, 2026, at her residence in Edinburg.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Eduardo Ortiz; son, Eduardo Arnold Ortiz; parents, Cosme Gonzalez and Guadalupe Martinez; four siblings, Enriqueta Geizer, Aurelia Robles, Thomas Gonzalez, and Vare Gonzalez.
Mrs. Ortiz is survived by her son, George G. (Sylvia Garcia) Ortiz; a grandson, Joel Ortiz; two siblings, Aurora Hernandez, Socorro Luna; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Dismissal will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 30, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interement will follow at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
