EMETERIO GRACIA
PHARR - Emeterio Gracia, 94, died Monday, June 15, 2009 at Edinburg Regional Medical Center.
Born in Mission, Mr. Gracia was formerly of San Juan and had lived in Pharr for the past 13 years.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Maria Gracia.
Mr. Gracia is survived by four children, Jose (Maria Elena) Gracia of Donna, Celso (Maria Nelda) Gracia, Francisco Gracia, both of San Juan and Isabel Cortez of Pharr; ten grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and a sister, Juanita Gracia of Weslaco.
Visitation will be held from 1 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary, today, June 17, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 18, 2009 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
