Lillian Frances Gorski, 95, went home to our Lord Sunday, May 13, 2018, at San Juan Nursing Home.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Teofil Gorski; her parents, Stanley and Sophia Wienckowski; and her five siblings, Genevieve Wienckowski, Estela Malik, Jean Dziubinski, Teresa Nowacki; Marion Przyborowski.
Ms. Gorski is survived by her only son, FR. Terrence Teofil Gorski, OFM of Edinburg, three nieces, Cynthia Bachinski of Broadview, IL, Melanie Swiercinski of Bolingbrook, IL, and Juanita Hogmire of Kalamazoo, MI.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary by Sacred Heart Catholic Church of McAllen today, May 15, 2018; and from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary by Holy Family Catholic Church of Edinburg, Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 East Canton in Edinburg. Funeral mass will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 17, 2018, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to be made to Holy Family Catholic Church for the renovation of the sanctuary.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
