Maria Consuelo Gonzalez Valdez

Maria Consuelo Gonzalez Valdez, was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, daughter and friend. She passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2022, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg at the age of 51.
She was born to Santos Gonzalez Cruz and Andrea Lopez in June of 1971. Consuelo had three sons and loved to spend time with her family and her friends. She was always generous and willing to help those she loved. She loved to laugh and was also strong in spirit and in her faith. Consuelo will be fondly remembered but greatly missed by all those who loved her.
She is preceded in death by her father and beloved grandmother, Consuelo "Doña Chelo" Gonzalez.
Mrs. Gonzalez is survived by her three children, Juan A. (Kaitlin) Garcia, Jonathan Delgado, Jairo (Karla) Ramirez; three grandchildren, Nicole Ramirez, Hayle Ramirez, Lincoln Garcia; her mother, Andrea Lopez; and six siblings, Gilberto Rodriguez, Jose Hector Valdez, Marcelina Rodriguez, Gonzalo Rodriguez, Esteban Valdez.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg. Cremation will take place at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
