Heleodoro "Leo" Gonzalez

ALAMO- Heleodoro “Leo” Gonzalez, 40, went home to our Lord Sunday, January 28, 2018, at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, WA (Maryland).
Born in Hacienda El Porvenir, Los Ramones, N.L., he lived in Alamo since 1988. Leo was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He enjoyed singing, dancing and loved being a grandfather. Mr. Gonzalez became a truck driver at age 18 and loved it with a passion. His positive attitude and charisma will be missed forever by his family and friends.
Heleodoro is survived by his wife of 22 years, Melinda Gonzalez of Alamo; four children, Samantha Gonzalez, Mariela Marie Gonzalez, Heleodoro Gonzalez, Jr., all of Alamo, Amanda (Alfonso) Wing of England; two grandchildren, Aileen Nicole Wing, Allen Leon Wing; parents, Armando and Bertha Gonzalez of Alamo; four brothers, Armando (Gloria) Gonzalez of Alamo, Alejandro (Christina) Gonzalez of Edinburg, Feliberto (Norma) Gonzalez of Mission and Modesto (Myrna) Gonzalez of Alamo.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Thursday, February 1, 2018, at Memorial Funeral Home of San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Friday, February 2, 2018, at Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of San Juan.
