GLORIA GONZALEZ EDINBURG - Gloria Gonzalez, 68, died Sunday, March 1, 2015, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. Mrs. Gonzalez was born in Edinburg and had lived there all of her life. Mrs. Gonzalez was an educator who enjoyed teaching and always caring for all of her students. She was a constant source of inspiration for her sons, family, friends, and grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Salvador and Ernestina Ramos. Gloria is survived by two sons, Arnold (Anna) Gonzalez and Joe Gonzalez, both of Edinburg; and two granddaughters, Mia Gonzalez and Miranda Gonzalez, both of Edinburg. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Tuesday, March 3, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
