ERNESTO GONZALEZ
ALAMO - Ernesto Gonzalez, 59, died Friday, April 10, 2009, at Audie L. Murphy VA Hospital in San Antonio.
Mr. Gonzalez was a lifelong resident of Alamo and a graduate of P-SJ-A High School. He was a veteran of the US Army, serving during Vietnam.
He is preceded in death by his father, Reymundo Gonzalez.
Mr. Gonzalez is survived by two children, Denise Gonzalez and David Gonzalez, both of Austin; his mother, Maria E. Gonzalez, of Alamo; and two brothers, Felix (Pat) Gonzalez, of Houston and Reymundo (Sandra) Gonzalez, Jr., of Pharr.
A memorial service will be held at 7 pm Tuesday, April 14, 2009, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Military honors will be conducted by American Legion Post 101 of Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
