GLORIA PEREZ
EDINBURG – Gloria Perez, 79, passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at South Texas Health System in Edinburg.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Arnoldo Perez; parents, Vicente De la Garza and Estanilada Morin.
Gloria is survived by her five children, Sandra, Nini, Linda, Diana and Melba Perez; five grandchildren, Priscilla Acosta, Rolando Acosta, Sergio Uriel Canales Jr., Makayla Canales, Elijah Ayala; and two siblings, Hortencia (Roy +) Garcia and Neva (Ramiro) Suarez.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary Sunday, May 3, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home, 311 E. Expressway 83 in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, May 4, 2026, at Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
