ORALIA SALINAS GARZA
EDINBURG – Oralia Salinas Garza, 77, died Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at Edinburg Regional Medical Center.
Born in McAllen, Mrs. Garza had lived in Edinburg all of her life. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jose M. and Petra Salinas; and a brother, Moises Salinas.
Mrs. Garza is survived by her husband, Julio L. Garza of Edinburg; two children, Baldemar Garza of Edinburg, and Nelda (Carlos J.) Garza Gonzalez of McAllen; a sister, Gloria G. Salinas of Austin, Texas; a brother, Adan Salinas of Edinburg; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 pm, with a 7 pm rosary today, April 23, 2009, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 East Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 9 am, Friday, April 24, 2009 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
