LUIS EDUARDO "EDDIE" GARZA
SAN JUAN - Luis Eduardo "Eddie" Garza, age 42, entered into eternal rest on March 18, 2023, in McAllen, Texas.
He was born on November 2, 1980 in San Juan, TX, to Nora Lou and Luis Zacarias Garza. Eddie was a 1999 PSJA High School graduate and an all-around Varsity athlete playing football, baseball and basketball throughout his high school years. Eddie was a big fan of the LA Lakers and had such a passion for the sport of basketball since childhood. Aside from sports, Eddie also loved music and found relief communicating/rapping through it; he was an entertainer nonetheless. Eddie always knew how to light up a room with his genuine smile and charismatic personality. He was very outgoing, and had an immense amount of love for his children. He will be reunited with his beloved mother, Nora Lou Garza. Eddie will be missed dearly as a loving son, brother, father and friend to many. We ask for continued prayers for his children and family as they part ways with him.
Eddie is preceded in death by his mother, Nora Lou Garza.
He is survived by his father, Luis Zacarias Garza; sister, Rita Garza (Adam) Bair; and his four children, Ryan Cole Garza, Tzofiyah Neshamah Garza, Eytan Melech Garza, and Isabella Garza.
Family and friends are invited to reminisce and honor the life of Luis Eduardo "Eddie" Garza at a visitation that will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., with a 6 p.m. Memorial service, Saturday, March 25, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
