ALAMO - Juan M. Garza, 52, died Friday, June 26, 2009 at McAllen Medical Center.
Born in San Juan, Mr. Garza had lived in Alamo all of his life and was a member of Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo.
He is preceded in death by a brother, Jessie Garza.
Mr. Garza is survived by his wife, Maria R. Garza; his parents, Juan and Sara Garza; a son, Juan M. Garza III, all of Alamo; a daughter, Christy (Aaron) Salazar of Alamo, Aleida N. Garza of San Antonio, Texas; two step-sons, Ruben Zamarripa, Joe Manuel Roman; a step-daughter, Tracy (Rolando Cano) Roman, all of Alamo; three grandchildren; four brothers, Raul, Ruben, Ramiro and Rene Garza; three sisters, Thelma Jasso, Yolanda Vela and Maricela Garza, all of Alamo
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service, today, June 28, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, June 29, 2009 at Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
