MCALLEN – Janie R. Garza, 57, died Friday, February 17, 2017, at her residence in McAllen.
She is preceded in death by her father, Alejandro Rodriguez; and two siblings, Alicia R. Chapa and Jorge Rodriguez.
Janie is survived by a daughter, Erika Enereda Garza of Edinburg; a son, Roberto Xavier Garza of Dallas; her mother, Concepcion Rodriguez of Edinburg; and three siblings, Yolanda R. Garza of Edinburg; Maria Rodriguez of McAllen and Connie R. Hernandez of Edinburg.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Wednesday, February 22, 2017, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m.Thursday, February 23, 2017, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen. Family request no floral arrangement with red roses.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
