GUADALUPE A. GARZA ALAMO – Guadalupe A. Garza, 85, died Wednesday, November 28, 2012, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen. Born in General Teran Nuevo Leon, MX, Mr. Garza had lived in Alamo all of his life. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 65 years, Leonor G. Garza; parents, Simon and Herlinda Garza; infant daughter, Celia Garza; and a son, Guadalupe Garza, Jr. Mr. Garza is survived by six children, Antonia (Guillermo) Sauceda, of Burley, Idaho, Rodolfo (San Juanita) Garza, of Boise, Idaho, Celia G. Garza, of Alamo, Ramiro (San Juanita) Garza, Alicia G. (Arturo) Garza, Ernesto G. (Juana) Garza, all of Glenns Ferry, Idaho; 20 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service today, November 30, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 1, 2012, at Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Alamo. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
