Benilde Garza, 91, went home to our Lord Tuesday, May 1, 2018, at San Juan Nursing Home.
Born in Mission, Ms. Garza had lived in Edinburg most of her life.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Ismael Garza; three brothers, Mario Guerra, Alvaro Guerra and Gumaro Guerra.
Ms. Garza is survived by her two brothers, Luciano (†Corina) Guerra of Pharr, Rolando (†Sandra) Guerra of Edinburg; her two sisters in Laws, Eloisa Mares Guerra of Pharr, Elia O. Guerra of Alice, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service Tuesday, May 3, 2018, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Friday, May 4, 2018, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in San Juan. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
