She is preceded in death by her husband, Guadalupe Garza; parents, David A. Rios and Estela Rios (Yznaga).
Mrs. Garza is survived by her son, Jose Marte (Irma) Garza; three grandchildren, Adrian Alexandro Melendez, Kassandra C. Garza, Jose Andre Garza; one great-granddaughter, Amelia Avery Melendez; three siblings, Ana Maria Solis, Xavier Rios, Luci Rodriguez; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 9, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
