SANTOS GARCIA
ALAMO – Santos Garcia, 67, died Friday, March 30, 2012.
Born in Levelland, Texas, Mr. Garcia had lived in Alamo all of his life and was a member of Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo.
He is preceded in death by a sister, Estella Flores.
Mr. Garcia is survived by his companion, Esperanza Baxley, of Alamo; four children, Marianella Garcia (Tomas) Sanchez, Pedro Garcia, both of Alamo, Ramon (Patty) Garcia, of McAllen, Lorena (Ricardo) Rodriguez, of Red Oak, Texas; five grandchildren, Esperanza, Myla, Laurynn, Garrett and Victoria; and seven siblings, Roberta Garcia, Elisa Rivera, Eduardo Garcia, Herlinda Navarro, Elva Mendoza, Armando Garcia, all of Alamo, and Elida Lopez, of Tulare, California.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Sunday, April 1, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, April 2, 2012, at Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
