JUAN B. "COWBOY" GARCIA
EDINBURG - Juan B. "Cowboy" Garcia, 85, passed away Friday, February 24, 2012, at Edinburg Regional Medical Center.
Born in Nuevo Leon, Mexico, Mr. Garcia had lived in Edinburg all of his life.
He is survived by nine children, Alejandrina "Cana" (Juan) Arjona of La Blanca, Julian (Gloria) Garcia, Mario A. (Alma Rodriguez) Garcia, Maria D. Vasquez, Rogelio "Kelin" Garcia, Francisca "Frances" Beltran, Maria G. "Lupita" (Charlie) Flores, all of Edinburg, Gloria G. (Patrick) Conner of Foster, Ok, and Sarita G. (Marco) Perez of New Braunfels, TX.; 24 grandchildren; 46, great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; one brother; and one sister.
A rosary was held at 7 p.m. Sunday, February 26, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. today, February 27, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
