ISMELDA RUIZ GARCIA EDINBURG - Ismelda Ruiz Garcia, 75, died Friday, June 15, 2012, at her residence. Ismelda was born in La Grulla and lived in Edinburg most of her life. She is preceded in death by her parents, Sabas and Petra Ruiz; one brother, Roberto Ruiz. She is survived by her husband, Jose Garcia of Edinburg; a daughter, Elda Garcia of Edinburg; one grandson, Kaelan Hertz of Edinburg; two brothers, Eli Ruiz of Alamo, and Sabas Ruiz of Fort Worth, TX; three sisters, Eliza Bustos of Mission, Noelia Saenz of McAllen, Elva Smith of Mission, Nina Martinez of McAllen, and Cindy Martinez of California. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., today, June 18, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
