GUADALUPE GARCIA
MCALLEN - Guadalupe Garcia, 78, entered eternal rest Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at his residence surrounded by his family.
Born in Monte Alto, Mr. Garcia had lived in McAllen for 55 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Jovita Garcia; and a sister, Carmela Vasquez.
Mr. Garcia is survived by his wife of 60 years, Juanita Garcia; four children, Perla (Ralph) Garcia, Debra Mae Garcia, Mark Anthony (Teresa) Garcia, Samantha Gabrielle (Adrian) Garcia; five grandchildren, Roel Cantu Jr., Joshua Noel Garcia, Aaron Michael Garcia, Ethan Anthony Garcia, Liliana Venezia Garcia; and six siblings, Baldemar Garcia, Gilberto Garcia, Olga Garcia, Juan Garcia Jr., Gustavo Garcia, and Gloria Garcia.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary Sunday, December 5, 2021, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 East Canton in Edinburg. A Celebration of Life will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, December 6, 2021, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation will take place at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
