Leonarda Espericueta Gallegos

LEONARDA ESPERICUETA GALLEGOS MISSION – Leonarda Espericuera Gallegos, 87, died Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at Mission Regional Medical Center. Born in La Grulla, she had lived in Mission all of her life. She is preceded in death by her husband, Rodolfo Gallegos, Sr.; a son, Rodolfo “Rudy” Gallegos, Jr; parents, Agustin and Florencia Espericueta; three brothers; and one sister. Mrs. Gallegos is survived by four children, San Juanita (Vicente) Lozano, Javier (Sofia) Gallegos, Diana Nellie (Guadalupe) Chapa, all of Mission, and Yolanda Solis of McAllen; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. A prayer service was held Sunday, April 20, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 1 p.m. Monday, April 21, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at San Jose Cemetery in Mission. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
