Francisco "Pancho" Marmolejo

SAN JUAN- Francisco “Pancho” Marmolejo, 75, passed away, Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at McAllen Medical Center.

He is preceded in death by his spouse, Guadalupe Escobar; a son, Francisco Marmolejo, Jr.; parents, Oliverio Marmolejo and Margarita Quesada; three brothers, Alfredo Marmolejo, Santos Marmolejo, and Oliverio Marmolejo, Jr.; a sister, Socorro Marmolejo.

Francisco is survived by his children, Blanca Estela (Jose Armando) Pardo, Terry Margie (George Gonzalez) Marmolejo; grandchildren, David Pardo IV, Oliver Nicholas Pardo, Jose Armando, Jr., Christopher Aguilar, LeeVette Angel Marmolejo, Jose Alejandro Pardo, Mari Gonzalez, LeeAnn Gonzalez, Francisco Marmolejo III, AnnaLee Halo Marmolejo; five great-granchildren; siblings, Federico (Lupita) Marmolejo, Juan (Gloria) Marmolejo, Rosa Marmolejo.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m., with a 6 p.m. funeral service on Sunday, July 12, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Cremation will take place at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg.  Interment of cremated remains will take place on Wednesday, 10 a.m., July 15, 2026, at San Juan Cemetery.
