FRANCISCO HERNANDEZ

MCALLEN – Francisco Hernandez, 75, passed away Saturday, December 27, 2025, at his residence in McAllen.

Francisco is preceded in death by his parents, Fidel Hernandez Sr. and Maria Agueda Garcia Hernandez; three siblings, Julian Hernandez, Fidel (Linda) Hernandez, and Margarita (Arturo) Villegas.

He is survived by his wife, Maria S. Hernandez; three daughters, Michelle G. Hernandez, Melissa K. Hernandez (Jesse) Lopez, Marissa M. Hernandez (Jesse Rodriguez); ten grandchildren, Jose Francisco (Ana) Alvarado, Jose Miguel (Alexis) Alvarado, Jazmine M. (Hector) Sanchez, Alyxiz Jyzelle Hernandez, Jesse Lopez III, Jonathan Lopez, Austin Rosalez, Joshua Lopez, Jeykob M. Lopez, Harlie I. Rosalez; six great-grandchildren; seven siblings, Oralia (+Adan) Moreno, Elvia (Gerardo) Riley, Sylvia (Eusebio) Navarro, Tomas Hernandez (Jorge), Alicia (Joe) Veliz, Patricia (Mario) Ochoa, Jose Luis Hernandez; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary, Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Cremation will take place at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of San Juan.
