FRANCISCO GONZALES
EDINBURG – Francisco Gonzales, 86, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2026, at Comfort House in McAllen.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Vidal and Julia Gonzales; and two siblings, Raul Gonzales and Margarita Luna.
Mr. Gonzales is survived by his wife, Maria A. Gonzales; four children, Marta Viera, Francisco (Angela) Gonzales Jr., Sandra Gonzales, David Manuel (Thelma) Gonzales; nine grandchildren, Octavio Guerra, Margaret Gonzales, Camille Viera, Jaime Viera, Joseph Rivas, Frank Gonzales III, Pamela Rivas, Lucas Gonzales, Makayla Gonzales; 25 great-grandchildren; two siblings, Cecilia Leal and Estella Godinez.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. with a 6 p.m. Talk Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
