SAN JUAN- Francisco Barrera Sr., 93, died Sunday, July 14, 2024, at his residence in San Juan.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Maria Perfecta Barrera; a daughter, Rosalinda Ambriz; his siblings, Rafaela Ruiz, San Juana Castillo, Ramona Valdez, “Chon” Barrera; and two great-grandchildren, Jade and Jasper Soloman.

Mr. Barrera is survived by his wife, Raquel A. Barrera; his children, Francisco Barrera Jr., Fabian Barrera, Fermin (Rosalinda) Barrera; 15 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m., with a Rosary at 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Friday, July 19, 2024, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
