EDINBURG – Francisca C. Ortiz, 84, passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at her residence in Edinburg.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Guadalupe and Bertha Cortinas; and two children, Emilio and Ruben Ortiz.
Francisca is survived by her ten children; Rosa M. Garza, Natalie Ortiz, Raquel Swayze, Guadalupe (Martiniano) Martinez Jr., Gonzalo Ortiz Jr., Hector Ortiz, Arturo A. Ortiz, Virginia Ortiz, Bertha Christina (Pete) Martinez, Veronica (Nicholas) Coyle; several grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Cremation will take place at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
