Filomena "Mena" Martinez, 76, died Wednesday, December 17, 2025, in Edinburg.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Patricio Martinez; daughter, Sonia Alejos; her parents, Apolonio and Eulalia Alejos; and a brother, Pedro Alejos.
Mrs. Martinez is survived by her five children, Sandra Martinez, Leonel Martinez, Angelica Villarreal, Francisco Martinez, Jaime Martinez; 18 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; siblings, Juana Alejos, Miguel Alejos, Julia Alejos, Ernestina Alejos.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary Monday, December 22 ,2025, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
