FERNANDO LOPEZ
ALAMO- Fernando Lopez, 73, died Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at McAllen Heart Hospital in McAllen.
He is preceded in death by his father, Reynaldo Lopez, Sr.; and two siblings, Gustavo and Jesus Lopez.
Fernando is survived by his wife, Gloria S. Lopez; four children, Micaela Alvarado, Maggie Alvarado, Fernando Lopez Jr., Esteban Lopez; 11 grandchildren; his mother, Martha Lopez; siblings, Reynaldo Lopez Jr., Perla Lopez, Ramiro Lopez, Enrique Lopez, Ester Lopez, Andres Lopez and Martha Lopez.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m., with 6 p.m. prayer service Sunday, February 22, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 1 p.m. Monday, February 23, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
