ESTHER ESQUIVEL
PHARR- Esther Esquivel, 90, passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at her residence in Pharr.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Roberto Esquivel; two grandchildren, Roberto Delgado and Alejandro Iruegas; her mother, Josefina Ferral and her sister.
Esther is survived by her five children, Agustina (Jesus) Garcia, Cleotilde (Juan Delgado) Esquivel, Anita Esquivel, Leticia Esquivel, and Esther (Guadalupe) Vega; 11 Grandchildren; 12 Great-grandchildren; and a brother Tobias Gutierrez.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in San Juan. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
