CARLOTA ESPARZA
ALAMO — Carlota Esparza, 86, died Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at San Juan Nursing Home.
Born in Pharr, Mrs. Esparza had lived in Alamo most of her life and was a
member of Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo.
She is preceded in death by a son, Margarito Esparza; two sisters, Martina
Garza, Rosa Guzman; and a brother, Jose Garza.
Mrs. Esparza~is survived by four daughters, Maria Guadalupe Alvarado of
Dallas, Texas, Julia Rodriguez, Rosario (Joe) Lucio, both of Alamo and
Clarissa (Edward) Rojas of Donna; 12 grandchildren; numerous
great-grandchildren; and~numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary today,
February 19, 2009, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.~Funeral service
will be at 10 a.m. Friday, February 20, 2009, at Resurrection Catholic
Church in Alamo.~Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Alamo.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San
Juan.
