REYMUNDO “REY” ESCANAME EDINBURG — Reymundo “Rey” Escaname, 60, died Sunday, October 4, 2015, at his residence in Edinburg. Born in Edinburg, Mr. Escaname had lived there all of his life and took great pride in working for the City of Edinburg. He is preceded in death by his mother, Josefina Candelaria Escaname. Rey is survived by his wife, Corina G. Escaname; a son Carlos Rey Escaname; two daughters, Monette (+Eduardo) Escaname and Dominique (Juan Grimaldo) Escaname, all of Edinburg; three grandchildren, Skyler Rae Quait, Santiago Eduardo Arguelles, Juan Alessandro Grimaldo; his father, Adelaido Escaname; eleven siblings, Ruben Escaname, Adelaido Escaname, Jr., Alvaro Escaname, Rogelio Escaname, Jose Luis Escaname, Juana Elva Torres, Jaime Escaname, Rosalinda Ingo, Miguel Angel Escaname, Ricardo Escaname and Yadira Escaname. Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service Tuesday, October 6, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 9 a.m. Wednesday, October 7, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg
